Wednesdays on Snow Adventures Program Continues Tonight (Feb. 26) – Males & Females
18 Participants last week for the Bell Estate:
This week, Plaister Mines, off the Baddeck Bay Rd. Meet there at 630 pm- drive in Plaister Mines Rd for about 1/2 km- look for sign on your left Cemetery Rd (there is a small house on the left just before that.
Best to turn around and park facing out (park on one side of road as road is narrow). If anyone needs a drive or wants to carpool, meet Eileen at Visitor Centre, Baddeck at 615 PM, or email me

Dress in layers, take a light if you have one, and eat a good supper! It will be chilly though wind is forecast to be light. Check your gear before you come. We will be out approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Trail is mostly sheltered and is flat; and is hard-packed

Directions from Baddeck-
Follow Chebucto St (Main street) to the end past the museum driveway and the pond. Follow this road (205) down the bay for approx 6 km. You will pass turn off to Beinn Bhreagh. Take the next right onto Plaister Mines Rd-

Directions from Big Harbour and all points east
Take first exit to Baddeck.
Follow this road about 2 km.
At the bottom of the hill, look for sign for Plaister Mines- turn left. If you get to the Beinn Bhreagh Rd, you’ve gone too far
