The Cape Breton Region has received the province funding ($49,408.70 total / From “Thrive” ) for After School Time Period Programming for girls grades 7, 8 and 9 “After the Bell” Program for Winter / Spring 2014 initiatives.
Victoria County currently has three after school programs being offered and will receive $15,500 of the funding total.
The three programs being offered in Victoria County include:
-GO (Girls Only) @ Cabot School/North of Smokey
-#For the Girls @ Baddeck Academy
-E’pite’ji’jk Pasik (Girls Only) @ Wagmatcookey (Wagmatcook)
