I’m sure most of you are all busy studying for exams this week! If you have an opportunity this weekend to shovel there is snow in the forecast! Either at the rink, or for a senior who is in need of a little extra help! Remember to mark your time on your scorecards!

A HIGH FIVE to all of our volunteers who showed up last night and helped with the Little Penguins program!! We had some new faces volunteering which is great to see! Help your friends out by making sure they go to the Library and get their “Scorecard” so they can earn points! All of you who participated are getting a “High Five” which means your name will be entered FIVE times in the big prize draw!!! Keep up the great work!

February Scorecard

OK EVERYONE! We have a NEW scorecard ready with lots of fun new activities! All you have to do to get your new scorecard for this month, is go to the library at Cabot High School, and Kim, the librarian will give you a new scorecard! I will be collecting these scorecards at the end of the month, so please track your progress! I am still waiting on one, or two, scorecards – If you guys could get these to me ASAP this is how your points are awarded!! Don’t be concerned with filling in the ENTIRE sheet, even one or two things count!!

Looking for your input….where do you want to volunteer? In addition to the rink and ski hill, are there any places or events that you are aware of that would welcome some eager volunteers?

What activities do you enjoy? We are all about staying active, and we’d like to know what you guys and girls (and parents) would like to see put on the next scorecards! Maybe, for example, we can organize and participate in a snowy hike around the Freshwater lake trail? What activities keep you moving? Skating? Snowshoeing? Skiing? Hiking? Why not earn some “active living” points doing it too! What do you think?

Awesome video promoting ‪#‎caperbase, some former Cabot students in this video! Watch!
