CALLING ALL CYCLISTS!! Bike Maintenance and Basic Repairs & CAN-BIKE 1


Saturday, June 6th – Sun. 7th
Old Post Office – Baddeck

These sessions are for individuals 15 years of age and older who are cycling already and wanting to improve their skills and abilities.

During the 3-hr Bike Maintenance & Basic Repairs session  given on Saturday afternoon 1-4pm. Six participants
maximum will learn how to maintain and perform basic repairs  on their own bicycle Review: brakes, drive train, wheels &
tires, flats, clean and lube.

CAN-BIKE 1 is a nationally approved Safe Cycling Program to give participants more skills, knowledge as well as confidence
which in turn heightens their overall cycling enjoyment.

CAN-BIKE 1 is a 9-hr, 3 parts program:
1. In-Class: Sat. 6 to 9 pm
2. Parking Lot Skill Builder: 9am to noon.
3. On-the-road Confidence Builder: 1 – 4 pm.

We will go over many aspects of safe bicycling and introduce some new concepts and information. For more information visit
