Judy Clattenburg – President, BOWNS
To: All Past BOW Participants,
We want to inform you that our Board of Directors will be taking a more active role in the registration and delivery side of the BOW program and you will probably notice some exciting changes.
One noticeable difference will be how we distribute BOW information. In an attempt to save money (and trees), we will be moving away from paper correspondence and will distribute information electronically, either on our website http://www.novascotia.ca/natr/outdoor/ or on the Facebook page (BOW Nova Scotia).
In keeping with past practices, former participants will continue to be notified of upcoming events/programs via email.
You will also note BOWNS has a new email address firstname.lastname@example.org . All comments/inquiries should be directed here. The new account will be closely monitored and you can expect a reply within 48 hours.
I’m pleased to report the 2016 Fall BOW evaluations have been compiled and the overall consensus is very positive. In light of these findings, the Board has confirmed the 2017 Fall BOW will be returning to Camp Brigadoon.
It has also been decided that we will not be holding a 2018 Winter BOW, however, we will keep you abreast on future winter BOW plans. Please frequent our website and Facebook page for up-to-date information on future events and any new correspondence.
Yours truly, Judy Clattenburg – President BOWNS
