Jan. 14 to Feb 23, 2017 Usage Report:
Looks like the goals are being achieved by the partners involved benefiting residents & visitors. A great start!
The vast majority of borrowers commented that they “had always wanted to try skiing or snowshoeing, but had been reluctant to invest in the equipment in case they ended up not linking the sport”. People have been “pleased to be able to borrow equipment and try these activities at no cost”.
“Good Quality equipment – nice & light”.
“This has really changed how I feel about winter. I’m loving it. And if this program hadn’t existed, I never would have tried skiing.”
“Our friends were coming to visit the area and we were trying to think of things to do with them. This allowed us to take them out on the trails and see the area”

We have successfully partnered with the Libraries on initiatives in the past, present and now the future benefiting our residents & visitors including the Bookmobile Learning Adventure; Presentations; Healthy Living Resource Section; Fall Eat, Drink and Be Healthy Series to name a few.
This program will be a great benefit to not only residents & visitors, but will be great exposure for all partners involved increasing memberships, etc.
Thank You again in Partnership. We look forward to working the Partners on implementing the program and look forward to enhancing the program now and in the future with additional equipment, items for residents & visitors to borrow.
