Health Bounce & Cardio Tram Classes 

Started Tuesday September 13 at 5:30 pm, I will begin Registration for the Health Bounce Class at the Neil’s Harbour FIRE HALL. …6 classes for $36 paid in full for this session. Class to begin at 6:00 pm. …

Registration for the Cardio Tram classes to follow at 6:30 pm ,6 classes for $50, class to start at 7 pm this week only ….just need time to register everyone and sign insurance waivers. If there is any available equipment remaining, I will do a $10 drop in fee per class. Pending availability. We need to beat the weather for transportation of equipment so I will do as many classes as the weather permits. Hope to see you all there.

This is a one-room line dance event aimed at beginner to intermediate dancers. Lunch will be available on-site (Please see registration form to pre-order)
The dinner break will give everyone the opportunity to try Baddeck’s excellent restaurants. A 50/50 Draw will also be run to reward the teachers. For those who enjoy dressing up, you are encouraged to be creative and have F-U-N with the “Harvest” theme for Saturday evening dance.

Participants will do aerobic, strength training and stretching exercises while seated in a chair. Bring light weights or two bottles of water to use as weights. Class suitable for persons with all ranges of mobility. Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Bring a bottle of water. Family Square Dancing Ceilidh – Healthy Living & Exercise

The Iona Legion in Partnership with Naturally Active for Life Victoria County (Est. 2011), Victoria County & Cape Breton District Health Authority are promoting healthy living and exercise by hosting monthly Family Square Dancing Ceilidhs.
The first Family Ceilidh was Dec 16th, 2016
7 – 9 PM
Admission to the ceilidh: FREE

They would like to have strong interest from all ages so that they can have individual sets for school age, adults, and seniors on the floor at the same time.
This is a great opportunity to teach youth traditional Scottish dancing, excellent form of exercise, and all while having fun for all ages.
They are looking for leaders to help organize and assist with this venture, also supported by Naturally Active for Life Victoria County through their Leadership Development Assistance Fund. If you are interested, please let them know that you are willing to help them out.
