Group Exercise Classes

Starting Thursday, February 22 at 5:00 pm
Northern Victoria Community Center .
I am a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and have training from Doctors Nova Scotia to use exercise as Medicine. I will run strength stations to Cardio training and will accomadate any fitness level ( you go at your own pace ).
Mini trampolines, kettle bells, floor exercise and more. 10$/ class with 2$ going to help support the community center. Please bring water and a Yoga mat if you have one. Hope to see you all at class. I want to get a feel for what the community is looking for ,so your input is valuable to me.

Kundalini Yoga

Two Kundalini classes a week in Baddeck:
Thursday evenings at Alderwood at 5:30 PM
and
11 AM on Saturday mornings at Glasgow House – Inverary Inn
$12 drop in fee – Punch cards available. Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle and wear light comfortable clothing

Registration for the Cardio Tram classes to follow at 6:30 pm ,6 classes for $50, class to start at 7 pm this week only ….just need time to register everyone and sign insurance waivers. If there is any available equipment remaining, I will do a $10 drop in fee per class. Pending availability. We need to beat the weather for transportation of equipment so I will do as many classes as the weather permits. Hope to see you all there.

The Iona Legion in Partnership with Naturally Active for Life Victoria County (Est. 2011), Victoria County & Cape Breton District Health Authority are promoting healthy living and exercise by hosting monthly Family Square Dancing Ceilidhs.

They would like to have strong interest from all ages so that they can have individual sets for school age, adults, and seniors on the floor at the same time.
This is a great opportunity to teach youth traditional Scottish dancing, excellent form of exercise, and all while having fun for all ages.
They are looking for leaders to help organize and assist with this venture, also supported by Naturally Active for Life Victoria County through their Leadership Development Assistance Fund. If you are interested, please let them know that you are willing to help them out.
