|New Experience: Membertou Medicine Walk
A new cultural experience offered by Membertou Heritage Park is a unique Medicine Walk based in traditional teachings, through the Greenlink Trail. After the walk, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop at the Membertou Heritage Park and enjoy refreshments such as luskinikin and hot tea. The Medicine Walk provides a rich experience that educates visitors and locals about the Mi’kmaq culture while sharing the knowledge of using the medicinal qualities of plants and herbs that grow on the Island. It promises to be an experience to remember!

|Celtic Colours Announces 2018 Lineup
On Friday, June 22, 2018 Celtic Colours announced its 2018 lineup to a jam-packed audience at the Celtic Colours Kickoff Ceilidh at Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site. Còig’s Rachel Davis and Jason Roach, Paul MacDonald (one of this year’s Artists in Residence), and culture bearer Kenneth MacKenzie helped share the good news.
