12:00 noon — Offical Opening of BasketBall Courts
Bounce Tent, Tug of War, Sack Races, Fish Pond, Face Painting
5:00 pm. Chase the Ace 19 & over
6:00 pm. Draw for the Ace, 45’s to follow
8:30 pm. Fireworks, Music, Cake.

Canada Day – Ross Ferry

Please join us at the Park on July 1st from 1-4pm. Mike will be on the fryer cooking those world-famous fries. Cash bar, entertainment, and flea market. New this year: instead of an even-split draw we will be selling raffle tickets (cash prize) with the proceeds going to purchase a new, and much needed, lawn mower.

Municipality of Victoria County Presents  “Parades Thru the Years” 

A photographic display of parades in Baddeck. The display includes over 35 photos of (mostly) Canada Day parades from the 1940’s, 50’s, the Centennial Parade of 1967, the 70’s 80’s, 90’s and beyond. You can also help to identify people, places & events. The display is located in the foyer of the Baddeck Courthouse and is open Monday, June 26 – Friday June 30  from 8:30 – 4:30. C150 Global Odyssey

Join the crew of the historic C150 Global Odyssey circumnavigation at the birthplace of powered flight in Canada, the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site! Come out to see the C150 Global Odyssey, the first Canadian circumnavigation of the world by helicopter — and the first ever father/son circumnavigation!

Meet the C150GO pilots Bob and Steven Dengler and their VIP guests including hockey legend Guy Lafleur as well as Hon. Col. Gerald Haddon, the grandson of the pilot of the AEA Silver Dart in 1908! See the amazing Canadian-made Bell 429 helicopter hands on, which will land right at the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site.

Annual Baddeck Dan MacDonald Canada Day 10K Run



Starts at the Baddeck Yacht Club, register starting 8:30, run start 9:30.  Registration link is here:  This is the 3rd and final event in the Victoria County Fitness Challenge, and a CBRR points series race.  Plus, there is no better place to be for Canada150 than Baddeck.  (for anyone who wants to do a multisport workout, contact me about cycling there in the morning from Ross Ferry or somewhere in between)

Superhero Run on July 1st, 2017

1.5 km Run for ages 1-10. Participants must wear a superhero outfit.
