Hosts Hike NS, Co-hosts Hike NS, Naturally Active Victoria County, Parks Canada and the Keltic Lodge were so excited to have you join us for the Hiking Summit that took place in Ingonish at the Keltic Lodge May 11th to May 13th.

http://www.capebretonpost.com/news/hike-nova-scotia-summit-held-in-ingonish-209929/

It was a great event with tremendous Volunteers, Partnership Organizing Committee, Sponsors, Donations, etc. – a tremendous spirit of cooperation for over a year now since our bid to host was approved and announced. It was win-win with the Keltic Lodge, Ingonish: Nature’s Home, The World Famous Cabot Trail, Victoria County and Cape Breton Highlands National Park venues = success.

You must have ordered Saturday supper in order to be able to view the keynote speaker David Miller. There will be no opportunity to just view the talk. See the info that follows on how to order Saturday supper if you haven’t already.

Meals & the Keltic Lodge

Lunches and breaks are included with your registration. You would have ordered and paid extra when you registered for breakfasts and for the Saturday keynote supper. Please refer to your confirmation email to verify if you bought these extra meals. If not, you have until May 6th to order extra meals and can do so here: http://tiny.cc/nu77sy. Other than lunches, all meals must be ordered and paid for in advance by May 6 if you haven’t already. There will be no opportunity to order extra meals once you arrive at the Summit. Tickets will be issued for all purchased meals.

Other than the Friday reception, the Keltic Lodge restaurant will not be open for supper on Friday, May 11, so if you’d like a meal before the 7 pm reception (which includes finger food), please see your options in the area here: http://tiny.cc/9817sy.
