SABDA Needs You—St Ann’s Bay Development Association is looking for new board members. After retirements and such, we are down to just four directors, and we can’t do our work without more input. We need your energy and perspective to continue to lead or create opportunities for our community, ranging from the Timebank https://stannsbay.timebanks.org/ to the community web site http://www.theshoresofstanns.ca/, business training initiatives, political action, and more. Non-profit organisations like SABDA are the key to giving our community a strong, clear voice, and to accessing funding of all kinds. SABDA has been an incubator and grant attractor for a variety of successful programmes, including the “spin-off” Health Centre, the Cabot Trail Writers Festival, and a recent round of business training programmes and workshops. The only limits on possibilities are our collective imagination, and a willingness to lead. And, of course, the continued good health of our community organisations. SABDA was incorporated on October 27, 1992, making this year our 25th anniversary. Be a part of its future. Make a difference. Get involved. If you would like to learn more about how SABDA works, or what’s involved in joining our board, please contact any director (http://sabda.groupenterprise.com/about.php), call 902-776-0537 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
