Volunteer Week 2018 – Call for Nominations
Volunteer Week will be recognized across Canada during the week of April 15-22, 2018. Victoria County is calling for nominations for outstanding adult volunteers, outstanding youth volunteers and community achievement award – organizations improving the quality of life in their community.
All volunteers & organizations nominated will be recognized at the Victoria County Volunteer Recognition Night(s) during Volunteer Week. Nominations can be filled out online – see below. Deadline for nominations is Thursday, February 15th, 2018.

The Province of Nova Scotia appreciates this valuable contribution. Through events such as the Provincial Volunteer Awards, the Youth Nominee Luncheon and International Volunteer Day, the province strives to raise the profile of volunteers and to honour their contributions.

From Sydney to Yarmouth, and all points in between, young people are making a difference across Nova Scotia.
The province recognizes youth who have been nominated for the Provincial Youth Volunteer Award at an annual luncheon each May.
