Facility benefits residents of all ages. They are a volunteer group working hard – your co-operation will be greatly appreciated. It includes a tiled rubber blue surface for multi-use during the fall/spring/summer seasons. The facility includes a Comfort Station with changing rooms, washrooms & laundry area.

Passes for the Outdoor Fun Centre: Single pass and family passes are available. A pass is required to use the centre year round.Contact David or Francene Donovan to purchase passes.

To Ensure Everyone Has An Enjoyable Time, Please Follow These Steps:

-Approved Hockey or Skating Helmets to be Worn by Everyone

-No Hockey Sticks or Pucks During Open Skating

-Helmets with Full Face Shield to be Worn Playing Hockey

-Recommend proper hockey gear for all players

-No Contact Hockey

-No Slap Shots

-No Alcohol

Fees Collected Goes Toward The Following:

-Snow Blower & Scrappers for Snow Removal; Skate Aids; Hose for Flooding; Liability Insurance; Power for Warm-up Room; General Upkeep

Ingonish Outdoor Rink Now Open for the Season 2016-2017!
HELD – Little Penguins
All children learning to skate in grade 2 or younger will get together on Wednesdays & Fridays at the Ingonish Outdoor Rink.
6 pm
Started – Wednesday, January 18, 2017
8 weeks
Fee: $25 – includes a family pass to the rink. Skates & helmets can be provided if necessary. We ask that for the first night you please show up 15 minutes early to allow for registration.
To develop their skating skills and to have some fun!!! All abilities are welcomed.

Ice is Ready to Go for 2017-18! Activities started on October 10th, 2017. Hats Off to all involved on a great asset for Victoria county benefiting residents and visitors, it’s greatly appreciated.
Great news – Dr. John Ritter is committed to partnering with the rink, Naturally Active for Life Victoria County (Est. 2011) and NS Dept Communities, Culture & Heritage to offer our 3rd Annual Bring Back Play Pond Hockey 2017-18.

HELD – Spring Ball Hockey 2017

To everyone interested in playing ball hockey thus spring it will start May 15, 2017.

It will run on Mondays and Wednesdays for 4 weeks. The time will be 5-6pm for 6-9 year olds , and from 615-715pm for ages 10-15 . Helmets , gloves and a stick are needed.

Please spread the word to other communities.

The fee is only $40 (Note: Need to be paid up front). Please send registration and payment to amaccbwest@gmail.com
