The Wellness Walkers-Fitness at Rankin School 2016-17

Walking / Running & Fitness Room
The Wellness Walkers – Fitness at Rankin School of the Narrows will be on Wednesday evenings, starting, Feb. 1st. Time: 7-8 pm. Wear comfortable shoes for indoor use. Use of the fitness equipment is for age 14 and up (or turning 14 in 2017). Walking is for age 7 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. If school is cancelled at Rankin School of the Narrows class will be cancelled for that evening. Sponsored by Central Cape Breton Community Ventures, Wellness Committee and supported by Rankin School of the Narrows, and Naturally Active for Life Victoria County (Est. 2011). Leader Cecil Kerr has reported 419 drop-ins & 42 registrants during the 1st 4 months of use at the Community Wellness Room at Baddeck Academy Nov 14, 2016 to March 3, 31, 2017. It’s Greatly Appreciated.

CBVRSB, Baddeck Academy, Naturally Active for Life Victoria County, NS Dept Communities, Culture & Heritage and NS Thrive will be offering our 5th straight year for the community wellness room in Baddeck for participants ages 16 & up, male & female – FREE access.
Please enter the door just outside the small fitness room at the school. Please do not use the main door of the school. You can drive to the door for convenience if you wish, go into the CBVRSB Garage area, up behind the cafeteria, past the playground equipment and to the front to the door. This allows better access. Facility Leader of the Program Cecil Kerr with let you in. Cecil is usually stationed in the main lobby, just outside th community wellness room.
